TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch
TabTrade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, that range is not narrow.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is offered for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Safety
This is the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not make it safe. It should factor into how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
